LA JOLLA - On the Waterfront

Description: On a recent jaunt to La Jolla, we spent the first 3 days of the trip moping about underneath grey clouds and a cold drizzle. The juicy colors of our beach hotel kept us hopeful. On the 4th day, we awoke to completely clear skies and brilliant light. It was a trip to remember.
This is an original painting of acrylic and oil pastel on gallery wrapped canvas. It is Part 3 entitled "On the Waterfront" in my LA JOLLA Series.
TITLE: LA JOLLA Series - On the Waterfront
Date Completed: April 2008
Dimensions: 12"H x 9"W x 1-3/8"D. Sides are painted in a yummy bronze/coffee bean brown which has the effect of fading away as you look at the front images.
Colors: Luscious shades of blue, blue-green, turquoise, soft greys, and pink.
Wired and ready to hang. No frame is needed.
